Puka's Puppies

Puka is a 2 and a half year old Bernese Mountain Dog, and on March 2nd, 2015, she gave birth to her first litter of 9 puppies. There are 5 males and 4 females.

The pups have all been doing well, and are being well cared for by their mother.

Puka is also a card-carrying member of the American Kennel Club:

She has all her certificates of health, indicating that she has no evidence of hip/elbow dysplasia, or any kind of congenital cardiac disease. In order words, she is in perfect health, just like the rest of her new family.

But what about the father of these 10 pups?  Named Chortle, he too is a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog, confirmed by the American Kennel Association:

In addition, Chortle has won various titles, including Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, and New Title Grand Champion.

We will be sure to continue providing updates on Puka's puppies as they grow and we get to know them individually in the coming weeks.
