THE PERFECT MAN, high concept contemporary comedy:  Why have one man when you can have five? Scheduled for production May 2014.

PIA. Animation feature. Shortlisted for Page Screenplay Awards, 2011. A little girl whose drawings come to life sets out to find her real mother. In development, Broadsword Entertainment and Flicker Fusion Animation Productions.Development funding agreed from IFB 2014.

PUNKY, animation series (40 x 7 mins) featuring Punky, a feisty little girl who happens to have Down Syndrome. Directed by Simon Crane and starring Aimee Richardson. Second series on RTE 2, due to be officially launched RTE Junior in February 2014.  (Punky blog)

Nominated for three  Irish Film and Television Awards( in 2012 and 2014) one Celtic media Festival Award (2012). Winner of European Producer of the Year award for Geronimo's  Gerard O'Rourke (formerly Monster Animation) at Annecy 2011.

Currently showing on RTEjr and in eight international territories; supported by Irish Film Board and Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

WULFIE, animation series for 4-11-year olds centred on a child and her new best friend, a mischievous and curious purple wolf who can grow to the size of a house, shrink till nearly invisible and can talk. In development with Monster Animation, development funded by Media (2013) and registered for Cartoon Forum 2014 as a co-production between Wulfie AnimaitonLtd (my own company) and Monster Entertainment.

ROXY & ROWENA, pre-school animation series about a little girl and the dog that helps her understand the world around her. Developed with  Natascha Crandall, an educational consultant who has worked on Nickelodeon’s Peter Rabbit, Zack and Quack, Bubble Guppies, The Backyardigans, The Wonder Pets, CBeebies’ Bing Bunny, The Octonauts, Sesame Tree, Sprout’s Driftwood Bay, and many Sesame Workshops.

WILDERNUTS, Kavaleer Animation.
Officially launced RTE Junior in February 2014. Two scripts.

BARZAKH 12 mins.
Produced by Odette Norman of Stormlight Productions, shot by Justin MacCarthy and directed by Donogh MacCarthy-Morrogh; it was launched by Minister Jimmy Deenihan in Killarney in March 2013. nominated for two awards at the Fastnet Film Festival and awarded joint first award at the Underground Film Festival in 2013. Appeared at Cork International Film Festival 2013 and London Short Film Festival 2014. ( REVIEW)

Selected by the Irish Film and Television Academy for a personal script consultation with the Galway Film Fleadh 2011 Screenwriter-in-Residence, Gill Dennis (Walk the Line).

MAGIC FRIENDS: Story and character creation, script development. This app is from the imagination of Caramagic/ Giant Animation ( Marino Software ( It's so new and such a clever idea and I can see it taking off as soon as the world gets hold of it! Creating fun characters from the animation concepts by Giant Animation / Dan Spenser is allowing me to use my imagination so freely! Launch is due late August 2014 with engineering and app design by Marino Software

GRIEF: Storylining, story development and creation (2014-). I'm working with Alan Boyce of Nevermind Games ( on this one. It's a really exciting concept but I can't say more about it yet!
